Ode-To-Joy Children Chorus is a musical group for age 6 and older students who enjoy singing, performing, acting as well as dancing. Students can take advantage of choral singing to improve reading skills while interacting with fellow students to perform music as a group. The weekly sessions are perfect complements to our regular vocal lessons and to other instrumentalists by providing a great musical experience that extends to exciting public performances.
Two 18-week sessions are offered every year. The spring/summer session is focus on learning music from Broadway musicals and other popular genres when the fall/winter session is designed around holiday themes. An intensive summer session is offered in some years to students who want to pick up a new musical activity during summer vacation. (Summer session's schedule and length may be different from the regular sessions.) Each session is unique so that students learn new materials and explore vocal music with glee.
